KIDS’ SUMMER PARADISE AT O’KIDO SUMMERSCHOOL
Summertime in the Algarve can be very difficult for parents with children as long school holidays can often leave children feeling bored and parents struggling as they juggle work with child care.
Here at O'Kido we understand these demands and have already devised some great summer solutions with special themed summer camps of two to seven day duration (such as fairytale camp, sports and games camp, Camp Rock, etc.) for children between the ages of 5 and 17 during the summer months.
During June and July O'Kido will be running a summer school every week day for children between the ages of 15 months and 17 years with parents able to enrol their children either for individual days, week blocks or for entire months.
Although some curriculum is involved in the school, essentially it is a chance for the children to have fun at the centre during the summer months.
The camps and the summer school are suitable for children of all ages and of all nationalities and we have English, Portuguese and Dutch staff working with us.
CRECHE & PRESCHOOL
O'Kido's Daycare Service wants all children to have the opportunity to grow physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually, by playing, exploring and learning with others in a fun, safe and healthy environment.
O'kido has many amenities and features that are not found in most playcentres in the area...
To name a few:
- We have a very large, fully enclosed playground
- Hot coffee available every morning when you arrive with your child
- Childcare on a part or full time basis.
We provide high quality nursery school education, extended provision between the hours of 8.30am and 18.30 pm and a range of services for children, families and the community.
If there are other things you need to know, please do not hesitate to come and ask us.
We also provide a varied menu of healthy meals for all full time children and cater for individual needs e.g. vegetarian. As one of our principles relates to the "Be Healthy" outcome of the Every Child Matters framework, we would encourage parents to use our own facilities for snacks and lunches.
